Joe Biden Agrees To Airdrop Food Into A Starving Gaza | Palestinian Protestors Make A Huge Impact

President Joe Biden announced today that the United States will be dropping food into Gaza. This follows a horrific massacre that was carried out by the IDF yesterday, which left at least 115 people dead. 


While it has become abundantly clear to the rest of the world that there is nearly not enough food for the entire population, this has been the case for weeks! Bernie Sanders, among others, have been saying what is happening in Gaza right now is a “humanitarian catastrophe.” The sudden rush to airdrop food into the region is merely a political ploy by the Biden administration to counter the recent “uncommitted” protest in Michigan this week.


While Joe Biden has been extremely pro-Israel during his presidency thus far, the pro-Palestinian sector of his party are forcing him to do as much as he can for the people of Palestine. This is proof that anyone who says that these protests are a waste of time, or that they can’t possibly make an impact, are wrong. In a Democracy, the people are meant to have a say. Because we can’t actually vote on any of these issues, we go to the streets and voice our concerns. Well, we have been heard. And although Biden himself might not care what happens in Palestine, he does care about winning four more years in power.


The only thing we can do now is hope that these airdrops are both abundant and well distributed amongst the population. I don’t think any person from the west can understand what it means for someone to actually starve to death, but that is exactly what is happening right now in Gaza.
